A well-built FAQ bot typically takes 3–5 hours to build for a first-time builder, dropping to 1–2 hours as you develop templates.

Charging a setup fee plus a monthly retainer is a common model. Fees vary depending on the complexity of the bot, the size of the client, and the local market. Discuss pricing with potential clients to understand what they consider fair value.
Show them a live demo on their own website. Spending 30 minutes before the pitch to build a basic prototype using their actual FAQ content is far more convincing than any slide deck.
